The Swansea City Supporters Trust has had many complaints from supporters in recent weeks regards problems encountered with the new ticketing system particularly around the Villarreal and Burnley fixtures.
The complaints raised with us have been collated and we are committed to working with the club board – via our Supporter Director Huw Cooze to ensure that these issues are cleared and the new system delivers the improvements that the club set out to achieve.
Trust Chairman Phil Sumbler said “We are aware of the issues and we are working daily with the club to resolve them. We fully appreciate that the situations that have arisen are not ideal and should have been avoided however, the views of our members have been taken into account and we believe we will reach a resolution very soon.
“As with any new scheme there will be teething problems and some of them have been unforeseen such as the high walk up crowd that we saw on Tuesday night. However, there have been a number of valid issues that need addressing and this is what we are looking to resolve as soon as possible.
“In the short term though we would ask that people consider arriving slightly earlier at the stadium particularly for Saturday’s match after which we have a further two weeks to ensure that the issues are overcome.”
Other issues raised on behalf of our members have involved the crowd facing adverts that have appeared around the ground and we have also had comments regards the installation of the new screens in the North and South stands.
