Ceredigion Jacks Officially launched with Fans Forum

October 23, 2015

The Swansea City Supporters Trust was delighted to help launch the Ceredigion Jacks Supporters Group yesterday evening with a Fans Forum in Lampeter.

Ceredigion Jacks Launch

Over 85 Ceredigion based fans turned up for the event, with Swans Assistant-Manager Pep Clotet, First Team Coach James Beattie, Club Ambassador Lee Trundle and Supporters’ Director Huw Cooze making up the panel of guests for the fans forum.

As with all of the Fans Forums, the panel of guests was asked some interesting questions by those present and it was fantastic to see so many of the questions being asked by the young footballers and local coaches in attendance.

The evening included a juniors training session with Lee Trundle, where over a hundred local youngsters, aged 6-16 got to play with and against ‘Magic Daps’.

It was fantastic to see so many of the kids wearing Swansea City shirts and tracksuits, proving that the club has a strong following in the Ceredigion area.

Dave Dalton, from the Ceredigion Jacks said:

The launch surpassed all of our expectations and was due to a huge team effort from our volunteers, the Swans Trust and of course our panel of guests. So many people have said to me how well Huw Cooze, Lee Trundle, James Beattie and Pep Clotet came across as individuals, who obviously cared passionately about our club”
