Season Tickets

March 1, 2021

Swansea City - South StandAs our members will know, the area of season tickets has been something the Trust have been working very closely together with the club on, since the start of this pandemic.

We are sure today’s announcement regarding the significant reduction in general sale season ticket prices for the 2021/22 season will be very well received by our members and the fanbase generally. We applaud the efforts of the club’s management team in proposing these prices and obtaining the agreement of our fellow shareholders.

As the representatives of the fans within our club, we have always advocated in favour of match day pricing that makes attending the Liberty Stadium as accessible as possible for all, so we were obviously delighted to support these proposals.

Everyone associated with our club is very aware of how this pandemic has impacted our fans, and these discounted prices are a reflection of everyone’s wish to do everything we can to ensure the Liberty Stadium is packed to the rafters when fans are able to return.

As noted in the club’s official statement, the Trust have been working closely with the club’s management team on the communications strategy for this initiative and to ensure that the numerous scenarios our fans will find themselves in have been covered. As previously, we have prepared an FAQ which we hope will assist our members in answering any questions you may have.

If any questions remain unanswered we can be contacted through our usual channels, or you can contact the club by email at: ticketoffice@liberty-stadium.com or by phone 01792 616400

FAQ:

I had a season ticket for the 2019/20 season but hadn’t renewed before the pandemic started. Will my seat be available for renewal?

Yes, you will have a window to renew your seat until 31st March. However, if you do not renew by that date, your seat will be released for general sale.

I previously had a season ticket and paid a deposit to retain my seat. Does the above apply to me too?

Yes. You have until 31st March to guarantee your seat.

I had a season ticket for 2020/21 but I took a refund. Is my seat still available too?

Yes, exactly the same as above. You have until 31st March to guarantee the same seat.

I took a refund for a previous season ticket, or I paid a deposit for my seat, so I have credit on my account. Can I use that for paying for next season’s ticket?

Yes. For those fans who have a credit balance on their Swans accounts, due to taking a refund for the 2019/20 and/or 2020/21 season tickets, or paying a deposit to retain their seat, you will be able to use this as part or full payment of your 2021/22 season ticket, depending on the amount of credit you have. The club has prepared a user guide on how to do this HERE

I have credit on my account, but I don’t want to buy a season ticket. How do I get the money into my bank account?

The club has prepared a user guide on how to access your Swans Account credit. This can be found HERE

Will these prices be the same if we’re promoted?

Yes! We are happy to confirm these prices will be the same even if we are promoted this season.

What will happen if fans aren’t allowed into the stadium for the start of next season?

We hope this will not be the case, but it is possible. We will be working closely with the club prior to the start of the season and, if this looks likely to happen, we will announce further details nearer the time.

If we aren’t back in the stadium for the start of next season, will we receive streaming codes like this season?

We would expect that the same principles will apply in terms of streaming codes being available for season ticket holders, however that will depend on EFL/Broadcasting agreements. Unfortunately, these cannot be confirmed at this time.
