Forthcoming Trust Board Elections
The Swansea City Supporters’ Trust holds Annual Elections for Swans Trust Members to have the chance to be elected to the Trust Board. Full Board Members usually serve for a two year term and are eligible to stand for re-election.
This year there will be SEVEN vacancies for election to the Trust Board, FIVE of which will serve for a period of 2 years from the 1st August 2021 and TWO for a period of 1 year from the 1st August 2021 (but will be eligible to stand for re-election in July 2022)
Proposed dates are as follows:
Friday 18th June – Formal announcement of forthcoming elections. Nomination forms will be made available to download on our website.
Friday 2nd July – Deadline for Nomination forms to be emailed to Trust Secretary or returned to Registered Office.
Monday 12th July – Voting forms to be issued to Members (if over SEVEN members stand for election).
Thursday 22nd July – Announcement on website for applications for Co-opted Members.
Monday 26th July– Voting forms to be returned to Trust Secretary or Registered Office (if over SEVEN members stand for election).
Tuesday 27th/Wednesday 28th July – Voting forms counting to take place (if over SEVEN members stand for election).
Wednesday 4th August – Closing date for applications for Co-opted Members.
Monday 9th August – First Board Meeting of new Trust Board.
Monday 9th August – Decision on appointment of co-opted members.
Monday 9th August – Election of Trust Board Officials.
