When and why did you join the Swans Trust Board?

I have been a member of the Trust since its inception. I have been a member of the Trust Board since 2022 and was elected as Associate Director in 2024 and 2025. The Trust is in an enviable position, having permanent representation on the Board of SCFC and a guaranteed minimum holding in the Club. With my background in negotiation & communication, as well as finance & governance I joined the Board as I believe I can make a positive contribution to the Trust Board and in communication with management.

What is your role at the Trust?

I am currently the Associate Director of the Trust, a position which also gives me a seat on the Board of SCFC. I am a member of the Membership, Finance, Communications and Global Jacks sub groups. I am also the Trust representative for the Football Supporters Association, and part of a communication group with other Supporters’ Trusts.

What are your views on the future and how will you support that?

The Championship is one of the toughest leagues in Europe and finances at this level will always be a challenge. Now that we do not receive any parachute payments, whilst at the same time hoping to achieve promotion back to the Premier League, makes it particularly challenging. In my view the Trust’s continued engagement with the Club, both owners and staff, will be key for the future. Improving communication and increasing membership is an important element in moving the Trust forward. A range of formal and informal communication, from small local get-togethers to worldwide virtual forums are vital to interact with, and understand the views of members and the wider fanbase. I will be doing my part to help the Trust membership grow and I believe that the bigger the Trust’s membership, the more impact it can make.

Best Swans memory?

Beating Leeds 5-1 in Division 1 1981; Play-Off final 2011 to regain promotion to the top flight (something I never thought I’d see again); League Cup win 2013 and subsequent travels around Europe (especially Valencia).
