Forthcoming Trust Board Elections

The Swansea City Supporters’ Trust holds Annual Elections for Swans Trust Members to have the chance to be elected to the Trust Board. Full Board Members usually serve for a one or two year term and are eligible to stand for re-election.

This year there will be SEVEN vacancies for election to the Trust Board, SIX of which will serve for a period of 2 years from the 1st August 2022 and ONE for a period of 1 year from the 1st August 2022 (but will be eligible to stand for re-election in July 2023)

Proposed dates are as follows:

Friday 17th June – Formal announcement of forthcoming elections. Nomination Forms and Guidelines will be made available to download on our website.

Friday 1st July – Deadline for Nomination forms to be emailed to Trust Secretary or returned to Registered Office.

Monday 11th July –  Electronic Voting forms to be issued to Members (if over SEVEN members stand for election). Paper forms will also be issued to the few members without email addresses.

Thursday 21st July – Announcement on website for applications for Co-opted Members.

Monday 25th July– Voting forms to be returned to Trust Secretary or Registered Office (if over SEVEN members stand for election).

Tuesday 26th/Wednesday 27th July – Voting forms counting to take place (if over SEVEN members stand for election).

Wednesday 3rd August – Closing date for applications for Co-opted Members.

Monday 8th August – First Board Meeting of new Trust Board.

Monday 8th August – Decision on appointment of co-opted members.

Monday 8th August – Election of Trust Board Officials.
