10 yrs and counting….
The Swans Trust is delighted to announce that it will once again provide sponsorship for the Swansea Junior Football League for season 2022/23. This support began back in the 2013/14 season and has continued every year since.
The leagues have been running since 1968 and are the beating heart of our game in the Swansea area and are the first taste of organised football for so many potential young stars.
Who knows how many future Swans are starting their journey on the fields of the Swansea Junior League right now?
The Trust has now sponsored the league over the past 10 seasons and in that time our support has helped provide the clubs and players with a wide variety of items and additional support.
Over the years we have also supplied such items as special safety glasses for a young player and made a donation towards the cost of a memorial bench for a young player who tragically passed away.
The league is run by a very small group of volunteers and is always looking for help. We’re sure they’ll be happy to hear from you if you can spare some time to join in and support the league. Contact details can be found on their website: http://www.swanseajfl.co.uk
They also have an active Facebook group
The Swans Trust is delighted to be able to continue supporting local organisations such as these and is able to do so through the continued support of our members who can join online HERE
We wish all teams and players every success for the remainder of the season.
