Earlier this month a group of Year 12 pupils from Bishop Vaughan Roman Catholic Comprehensive School visited the Swansea.com Stadium. This was part of this seasons Schools’ Programme we announced earlier this season and was arranged and hosted by the Supporters’ Trust while the Club generously provided the tour and use of the Press Room at the stadium free of charge
The pupils were all studying Level 3 BTEC Business and the visit provided real life case study material to assist them in their studies. They enjoyed a tour of the stadium and for almost an hour discussed the organisation and position of Swansea City AFC Ltd as one of the city’s largest businesses. Much of the time was spent talking about the recent developments concerning the ownership and control of the Club.
More visits to the stadium by other schools and colleges have been arranged over the next couple of months and we’ll provide further updates as the season continues.
