The Trust would like to officially welcome Michael Duff to the club as new head coach, as was officially announced earlier this evening HERE
A statement from Michael was also released at the same time and is available HERE
We are pleased that the club has acted quickly and decisively to replace Russell Martin and pleased too that further disruption to proceedings has been minimalised, with the squad not due back into training until tomorrow.
Michael has a strong football pedigree, having first been a professional at club and international level with more than 600 appearances, before moving into management with Cheltenham Town, and most recently at Barnsley FC.
We hope that Michael’s experience as Academy Manager at Burnley has also shown him the value of youth setups, and that he will continue to utilise and develop the fantastic pipeline of young players that the club has and continues to produce.
We look forward to welcoming Michael at the Swansea.com stadium in the coming weeks and wish him the very best of luck for what will hopefully be a strong season for the Swans.
