On the morning of Wednesday 27th November, the Swans Trust hosted a group of Level 2 and Level 3 Btec Business Studies students and their lecturers from Gower College’s Tycoch campus.
They were divided into two groups each enjoying a stadium tour and an hour’s discussion of the business aspects of the football club in order to give them case study material to support various aspects of their courses. The students took a particularly lively interest in the recent ownership changes and were provided with an up-to-date insight into the nature of the Club’s finances.
This was part of this seasons Schools’ Programme we announced earlier this season and was arranged and hosted by the Trust while the Club generously provided the tours and use of the Press Room at the stadium free of charge
More visits to the stadium by other schools and colleges have been arranged over the next couple of months and we’ll provide further updates as the season continues.
