Trust Board Election Results 2022

The Trust Board are delighted to announce that the following have been appointed to the board with effect from 1st August 2022.

Sian Davies
Cath Dyer
Chris Golledge
Diane Hughes
Ceri Morgan
Ceri Stone
Rupert Thomas

There were 7 positions available and as there were 7 applications, there is no requirement to hold an election ballot. They will join Dave Dalton, Terry Sinnett, Howard Corder and Howell Williams in forming the Trust board for the 2022/23 year.

We welcome returning members Sian Davies, Ceri Stone, Chris Golledge and Rupert Thomas as well as introducing new members Diane Hughes and Ceri Morgan after short periods as co-opted members. We also welcome back former board member Cath Dyer after some time away from the board.

All will serve for a period of two years apart from Cath Dyer who, with her agreement, will serve for a period of one year, to ensure an appropriate split of board members. She will of course be eligible to apply for re-election next year.

Over the coming weeks we will be updating everyone’s board profiles on our www.swanstrust.co.uk website which will help you get to know them better.

During the past year we saw two full board members step down due to work and family commitments. They were Carys Ingram and Nick Phillips and we once again would like to place on record our utmost thanks and gratitude to them all for their time and work for the Trust and wish them well for the future.

On Wednesday 20th July we will be announcing more details of how to apply for one of our co-opted positions for the 2022/23 year. If anyone requires more information please email me at paul.barrett@swanstrust.co.uk

As we look to the future, we will soon be launching our campaign for membership for the 2022/23 season so please keep an eye out for further updates in the coming weeks.

Finally, the new season is now just a few weeks away and I’m sure we are all looking forward to seeing Russell Martin and his team grace the newly laid pitch at the Swansea, com stadium and of course across the country supported by the loyal Jack Army.
